Dovendi is your partner in the purchase, sale, and management of domain names.
General questions
More Frequently asked questions
Why are domain names listed under your DNS name?
When partners entrust their entire domain name portfolio to Dovendi, we list the DNS under our name. This allows us to quickly act upon a sale. Dovendi is never the owner of the name, only a mediator.
Can you transfer the DNS after a sale?
No, you need to arrange this with your own hosting company. Sometimes this is forgotten, and the domain name remains 'technically' linked to the previous owner. You will receive a reminder about this. After some time, you will receive a warning that the transfer will be cancelled and your rights will expire.
Are you also a provider/hosting partner?
Dovendi is not a provider or hosting company. We act as a mediator in the sale of domain names and share knowledge about the market.
Do you recommend a hosting provider?
You can easily search for a hosting partner, from large companies to locally operating ones. At Dovendi, we do not have a preference or recommendation, but we do collaborate with various providers.
What is an owner change form?
An owner change form is a document that confirms the transfer of the current owner of a domain name to another party.
I have domain names for sale.
You can always contact Dovendi. We do not buy domain name portfolios ourselves, but we can make them known in our network or mediate in the sale.
